Wounds UK were delighted to present an awards programme that recognised the outstanding achievements of those practitioners who are improving standards in wound prevention and management, via research, clinical audit and practice development in the UK. Wounds UK firmly believe that the work of these innovators should be recognised and rewarded.

The Wounds UK Awards ceremony took place on the 8th of June 2007 at the Hippodrome, Leicester Square, London. Awards in over 10 categories were presented following a formal dinner with over 400 guests in attendance. Each award category had three winners; two highly commended and one overall winner. Each category winner was considered by the judging panel for a final award, which was presented on the night.
